Nasolabial Folds

Nasolabial folds are the lines that run from your nose to your mouth (smile lines). As we age and the migration of our natural fat pads and loss of bone density can cause these folds to become deeper and more pronounced. The damage from sun exposure and smoking can also contribute to the worsening of these lines. 

​Nasolabial fold treatment is adding volume to the fold itself to soften the lines allowing for a more rejuvenated look. In more severe cases it can be beneficial to add structure to the area above the folds to provide a lifting effect. By plumping this area we can lessen this classic tell-tale sign of aging leaving you looking incredible with a subtle, naturally refreshed appearance.  

 

  • Bridie uses cannula for this procedure, rather than needle injections, so there is less risk of bruising and minimal pain.

  • I choose to work only with the top brands of FDA-approved dermal filler on the market. We can discuss the reasons for my choice of product in your consultation and I will always counsel you on the specific product that is best for your nasolabial fold area based on its individual properties.

  • Any discomfort will be pretty minimal. I use prescription strength numbing cream during the procedure to make it as comfortable as possible. Some of the filler we use contains anesthetic which also reduces the discomfort factor. I am incredibly gentle with my technique but the fact I use a cannula for this procedure means it is usually a lot more comfortable for the client and means it's less 'nippy'.
